Description
Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical – Spokane, WA 99202
Start Date: November 2, 2026
Location: Spokane, Washington
Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM). Weekend coverage required per facility needs, minimum every other weekend. 48-hour shifts approved.
Highlights:
- Work in a 91-bed rehabilitation facility with a teaching hospital environment
- Patient ratios of 1:6-8 for manageable workload
- Epic charting system with 40 hours of paid orientation
- Flexible scrub color policy across all units
- Floating between units required; no on-call responsibilities
- 16-week assignment through February 22, 2027
Requirements:
- Active Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
- Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
- Current BLS certification
- Experience with charting systems required
- Skills in Med/Surg, rapid response/code teams, peripheral line care, oxygen administration, non-invasive airway management, and isolation precautions
- Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
- Commitment to work 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- Clean background check required; no background hits accepted
