Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery Charge – Anchorage, AK 99508

Start Date: November 9, 2026

Location: Anchorage, Alaska

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12 or 4x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30). Every other weekend required. Guaranteed 60 hours per two-week period. This is a high-risk Labor and Delivery unit averaging 7 deliveries daily, with up to 14 patients including inductions and high-risk antepartum cases. OB Triage averages 4-5 third trimester testing patients daily.

13 or 26-week assignment options available in a premier Alaskan healthcare setting

Requirements:

Active Alaska RN license required (pending licenses accepted for submission but must be in hand for final offer)
Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
Charge Nurse experience required or willingness to train in the charge role
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate and Advanced, NRP
Epic charting system experience required
Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
Hepatitis B vaccination required (titers or declinations not accepted)
Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
Ability to float to similar units as needed
