Description

Job Opportunity – Registered Dietitian – Anchorage, AK 99508

Start Date: November 9, 2026

Location: Anchorage, Alaska

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 5x8-hour shifts (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with minor flexibility). No weekends or on-call required. Guaranteed 72 hours per 2-week period.

Highlights:

Work in a 407-bed Magnet-designated acute care hospital with Level II Trauma designation
Pediatric experience highly preferred; opportunity to work with diverse patient populations including neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
Monday through Friday schedule with no weekend or on-call requirements
Choice of 13-week or 26-week assignment length
Epic charting system utilized; free parking provided
Comprehensive nutrition services including enteral and parenteral nutrition support

Requirements:

Active Alaska state license as Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN certification required; pending license considered)
Minimum 2 years of clinical dietitian experience
Experience with enteral and parenteral nutrition knowledge and expertise
Epic charting system experience preferred
Both adult and pediatric clinical experience preferred
Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
Hepatitis B vaccination required (titers or declination not accepted)
Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's)
