Job Opportunity – Telemonitor Technician – York, ME, 03909

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: York, Maine

Schedule: Full-time, 72 hours per pay period, three 12-hour shifts per week. Day shift, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, including weekends and holidays. 36 guaranteed hours per week. This is a 13-week travel assignment.

Highlights:

• Provide continuous surveillance of patient cardiac monitors in a hospital telemetry setting
• Work closely with nursing staff and clinicians to ensure immediate notification of cardiac rhythm changes
• Perform EKG procedures, ectopy checks, and daily telemetry equipment maintenance

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum of two years of experience monitoring ECG/Dysrhythmia in a physician's office, clinic, hospital, or similar healthcare setting
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Successful completion of a Dysrhythmia Course and EKG exam (may be completed during orientation)
• Strong knowledge of basic cardiac anatomy and physiology
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively under pressure
• Ability to accurately interpret heart rhythms and document findings per department standards
