Job Opportunity – Radiation Therapist – Walla Walla, WA 99362

Start Date: November 2, 2026

Location: Walla Walla, Washington

Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (08:00 - 16:30), no weekends required, no on-call required. 26-week assignment through May 3, 2027.

Highlights:

  • Work at a 104-bed Short Term Acute Care facility with Level III Trauma Center designation
  • Daily census of approximately 35 patients in an adult outpatient setting
  • Utilize Epic charting system in a modern radiation oncology department
  • Consistent day shift schedule with no floating between units
  • Free parking provided for all staff members
  • Comprehensive 40-hour orientation to ensure successful onboarding

Requirements:

  • Active Washington State Radiation Therapist license (must be in hand prior to submission)
  • Minimum of 1 year of radiation therapy experience required
  • Epic charting system experience required
  • Proficiency with adult outpatient radiation therapy procedures
  • Experience with ARIA, IMRT, CT simulation, radiation safety, and treatment site simulation
  • Familiarity with equipment including TrueBeam, Varian systems, and CBCT/kV/mV imaging preferred
  • Knowledge of specialized treatments including prostate cancer with seeds/fiducials, stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS), and respiratory gating preferred
  • Two professional references covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years
