Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Progressive Care Unit – Spokane, WA 99208

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Spokane, Washington

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00). Every other weekend required. Block scheduling required. Patient ratio 1:4 on nights.

Highlights:

• Progressive Care Unit position at a Short Term Acute Care facility with Level III Trauma Center designation
• 13-week assignment with 24 hours of orientation provided
• Epic charting system utilized throughout the facility
• Interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, physical therapy, rapid response teams, and more
• 42-bed unit with average daily census of 35 patients, caring for adult patient population
• Floating between units may be required to meet facility needs

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license (Compact license accepted)
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with patient ratios of 3-4 patients
• Proficiency in telemetry, cardiac drip management, blood product administration, central line care, IV insulin protocols, and interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Commitment to work 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
