Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical Oncology – Portland, OR 97213
Start Date: October 26, 2026
Location: Portland, Oregon metropolitan area
Schedule: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00). Every other weekend required. Block scheduling required. Patient ratio 1:4. Floating to other units may be required based on facility needs.

- 418-bed short-term acute care facility with 22-bed oncology unit
- Comprehensive oncology care including autologous stem cell transplant and CAR-T therapy patients
- Epic charting system with interdisciplinary support including IV teams, pharmacy, physical therapy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams
- Opportunity to work with adult and geriatric patient populations in a specialized oncology setting
- Free parking available on-site
- 48-hour work weeks approved when needed
Requirements:
- Active RN license (Compact license accepted and must be in hand at submission)
- Minimum 1 year of recent medical-surgical oncology nursing experience
- ONS chemotherapy/biotherapy certification required (ONS/ONCC)
- Current BLS certification
- Experience with autologous stem cell transplant and CAR-T therapy patients preferred
- Proficiency in Epic charting system required
- Strong skills in chemotherapy administration, port management, central line care, and oncology patient education
- Must have reliable transportation for this assignment
- Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
- Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility
