Job Opportunity – Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse – Sweetwater, TX 79556
Start Date: October 2, 2026
Location: Rural West Texas
Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 36 guaranteed hours per week
Highlights:
- Travel nursing opportunity in a rural hospital setting with approximately 30-40 deliveries per month
- 91-day assignment with comprehensive patient care responsibilities across multiple maternal and newborn care areas
- Full-spectrum obstetric nursing including antepartum, labor and delivery, postpartum, and nursery care
- Competitive compensation with overtime and holiday pay available
- On-call support with additional compensation
Requirements:
- Current Registered Nurse license
- Active labor and delivery nursing experience required
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, STABLE, and Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
- Ability to provide care across antepartum, postpartum, and nursery settings
- OB circulator experience strongly preferred
- Postpartum-only experience does not meet requirements; active L&D experience is essential
