Job Opportunity – MRI Technologist – Amarillo, TX 79106

Start Date: October 26, 2026

Location: Amarillo, Texas

Schedule: Saturday/Sunday 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM and Tuesday/Wednesday 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (40 hours total per week). This is a 13-week travel assignment with 24 hours of orientation.

Highlights:

• Work with advanced MRI equipment including GE 1.5 Signa EchoSpeed, GE 1.5 Signa Voyager, GE 3T Signa Excite, and Hitachi (Fuji) Oasis Open Air systems
• Diverse patient population including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics across inpatient and outpatient settings
• Opportunity to work with implanted devices including non-conditional pacemakers and perform specialized procedures
• First-time travelers welcome with comprehensive orientation and support
• Experience with sedated patients and after-hours patient transport

Requirements:

• ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of MRI experience
• Epic charting system experience required
• Active state or compact license must be in hand at time of application
• Comfortable with inpatient and outpatient scanning, pediatric patients, and sedated patients
• Ability to transport patients after hours
• Must reside outside 50-mile radius from the location
