Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, PACU – Spokane, WA 99204

Start Date: November 2, 2026

Location: Spokane, Washington

Schedule: Block scheduling with 4x10-hour shifts available; Day shift (07:00 - 17:00) and Night shift (21:00 - 07:00) options. No on-call required. Weekends not required. 91-day assignment through February 1, 2027.

Highlights:

• 629-bed Short Term Acute Care teaching facility with Level II Trauma Center and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center designation
• 12-bed PACU unit with 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratios and daily census of approximately 20 patients
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Radiology, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, and Unit Secretary
• Outpatient surgical procedures including GYN, Orthopedic, biopsies, hand surgery, thyroidectomy, minor pediatric cases, urology, and ophthalmology
• Epic charting system with 30-40 hours of orientation provided
• Free parking available on-site

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license (Compact license accepted and must be in hand at submission)
• Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience required
• Must have Pre-Op, PACU, and Phase II care experience with strong IV skills
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with patient ratios of 1:3 preferred
• Previous charge experience, community hospital experience, LTAC experience, and Level I or Level II Trauma Center experience preferred
• Experience with Ambulatory OR, Hybrid OR, and Pediatric General OR preferred
• Care for diverse patient populations including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Clean background check required (facility does not accept Nursys or background hits)
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
