Job Opportunity – Infection Prevention Specialist – Orange, CA 92868

Start Date: November 2026

Location: Orange, California

Schedule: Day shift, Monday through Friday, 5x8-hour shifts (08:00 - 16:30). No weekends or holidays required.

Requirements:

• CIC (Certification in Infection Control) required
• Minimum 1 year of current infection prevention experience required
• Acute care hospital experience required
• Degree in Public Health, Lab Sciences, Microbiology, Nursing (RN), or related health science field
• Valid California RN license or Compact license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Epic experience highly preferred
• Experience working independently in infection prevention role
• Proficiency in surveillance, disease reporting, HAI prevention, and CDC guidelines
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
