Description

Job Opportunity – Occupational Therapist – Walla Walla, WA 99362

Start Date: November 2, 2026

Location: Walla Walla, Washington

Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (07:00 - 15:00), rotating weekends approximately every 3-4 weeks. Patient ratios of 8-9:1. Float coverage required between acute care, medical, ICU, and inpatient rehabilitation units.

Highlights:

  • Work at a 104-bed Short Term Acute Care facility with Level III Trauma Center designation
  • Reduced non-billable orientation – 0 hours versus standard 40 hours
  • Diverse patient population including multi-trauma, stroke, spinal cord injury, orthopedic, and neurological diagnoses
  • Collaborative, close-knit team environment in a regional hospital setting
  • Epic charting system with no parking fees
  • 91-day travel assignment through February 1, 2027

Requirements:

  • Active Washington state Occupational Therapy license required at time of submission
  • Minimum 1 year of acute care experience required
  • Inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred
  • Epic charting experience preferred
  • Must be flexible to work across all hospital areas including acute, medical, ICU, and 8-bed inpatient rehab facility
  • Strong time management skills and ability to work independently
  • Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
  • Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
