Description
Job Opportunity – Electrophysiology Technologist – Anchorage, AK 99508
Start Date: November 2026
Location: Anchorage, Alaska
Schedule: 4x10-hour day shifts (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM). Some Saturdays required as part of regular weekly schedule. On-call coverage from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM; callbacks are rare. Every 4th weekend on-call.

- Comprehensive procedural experience including diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath, structural heart procedures (TAVR, Mitral Clip, PFO), and interventional radiology
- Advanced EP lab with cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, CRM device implants, and arrhythmia induction procedures
- Exposure to cutting-edge technology including IABP, Impella, Tandem Heart, and various atherectomy and thrombectomy devices
- 13 or 26-week assignment with guaranteed 70 hours per two-week period
- Free parking and scrubs provided; Epic charting system
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of Electrophysiology Technologist experience required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Valid Alaska state license or ability to obtain (10-12 weeks processing time)
- Experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab procedures, EP evaluation, and cardiac ablation
- Proficiency in equipment setup, sterile technique, hemodynamic monitoring, and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias
- Epic charting experience preferred; familiarity with Philips X-Ray System, McKesson for Cath Lab, and MacLab/Cardio Lab for EP preferred
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
- Hepatitis B vaccination required (titers or declination not accepted)
- Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's)
- Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
