Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse / PACU – Santa Rosa, CA 95405

Start Date: November 2, 2026

Location: Santa Rosa, California

Schedule: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (11:00 AM - 11:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM). Variable start times depending on daily assignment. Schedule flexibility required. No weekends, no holidays, no call. Monday through Friday only. 40 hours of orientation provided.

Highlights:

• Outpatient Pre-Op and PACU setting in an acute care facility
• Work with diverse patient populations including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Monday through Friday schedule with no weekends, holidays, or call requirements
• Phase I and Phase II PACU experience, plus infusion therapy
• Daily census of approximately 10 patients with 2:1 patient ratios
• All outpatient surgeries including general, orthopedic, urology, ENT, ophthalmology, and plastics

Requirements:

• Active California RN license or Compact license (must be in hand at submission)
• Minimum 1 year of PACU nursing experience required
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with conscious sedation, procedural sedation administration/monitoring, and infusion therapy
• Skills in pre-op/post-op procedures, airway assessment, dysrhythmia recognition, and pain management
• Ability to work flexible variable shifts to meet department needs
• First-time travelers accepted
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off during contract duration
