Job Opportunity – EEG Technologist – Eureka, CA 95501

Start Date: November 2, 2026

Location: Eureka, California

Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (08:00 - 16:30), 40 hours per week. Daily patient volume of 3-4 patients with approximately 4 visits per day. 16 hours of orientation provided.

• Work with diverse patient populations including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Epic charting system experience utilized
• Comprehensive EEG services including ambulatory, long-term monitoring, sleep studies, and evoked potentials
• Structured day shift schedule with consistent hours
• One pre-approved time off period available

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of EEG technologist experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Valid California state license or compact license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Epic charting system experience required
• Proficiency in adult ICU, inpatient, and outpatient EEG procedures
• Skills in electrode placement, portable recording, sleep EEG, ambulatory EEG, and long-term video monitoring
• Experience with evoked potentials (auditory, motor, somatosensory, visual) preferred
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Ability to float to sister facilities if needed
• Commitment to work 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
