Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse ICU – Mission Hills, CA 91345

Start Date: November 2026

Location: Mission Hills, California

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM). Patient ratio 2:1. Float rotation to ICU overflow and PCU/Telemetry units as needed. Weekend coverage required. Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).

• Level 2 Trauma Center and Thrombectomy-Capable Stroke Center with high-acuity neuro population
• Comprehensive critical care experience including STEMI receiving, CABG/Valve procedures, IABP, CRRT, and complex surgical cases
• Diverse patient population including cardiovascular, multi-trauma, stroke, motor vehicle accidents, and orthopedic cases
• Epic charting system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including pharmacy, respiratory services, rapid response teams, and more
• Free parking and supportive team environment with fair float rotation

Requirements:

• Active California RN license (must be in hand prior to submission)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Strong neuro ICU experience required
• Level 2 Trauma Center experience required; Level 1 Trauma experience preferred
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and LA City Fire Card (must be obtained within 30 days prior to start)
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Community hospital experience required
• Experience with 2:1 patient ratios
• Proficiency in critical care skills including ventilator management, arterial line management, central line care, blood product administration, vasoactive drip titration, and post-operative cardiac/neurosurgery care
