Job Opportunity – Emergency Room Registered Nurse – Chewelah, WA 99109

Start Date: November 2, 2026

Location: Chewelah, Washington

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), rotating weekends required. Patient ratio approximately 1:5-6. Daily census averages 16 patients across 7 rooms with 11 beds.

Highlights:

• 91-day travel assignment at a 23-bed Critical Access facility
• Comprehensive emergency department serving all age groups from neonates to geriatrics
• Epic charting system with interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and phlebotomy
• No on-call requirements; floating between units may be required
• Opportunity to work in a close-knit community healthcare setting
• Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

Requirements:

• Active Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room nursing experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC
• Preferred certification: NRP
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred
• Proficiency in emergency medications, IV management, triage, trauma care, and managing diverse patient populations
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Clean background check required (facility does not accept Nursys or background check exceptions)
