Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery – Fullerton, CA 92835

Start Date: November 3, 2026

Location: Fullerton, California

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30). Weekend coverage required, typically every other weekend but may exceed based on unit needs. Patient ratio 1:2. Assignment duration is 13 weeks.

Requirements:

• Active California RN license or Compact license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 1.5 years of Labor and Delivery experience required; 2 years preferred
• ACLS, AWHONN Advanced (required), BLS, and NRP certifications (AWHONN Advanced is mandatory)
• Epic charting system experience required
• Expert-level competency performing sterile vaginal exams independently without supervision (required)
• Triage experience required
• Proficiency in comprehensive L&D skills including fetal monitoring, epidural management, C-section circulation/recovery, postpartum hemorrhage, magnesium sulfate therapy, and newborn assessment
• Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
• Clean background check required
