Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Cardiovascular Operating Room – Portland, OR 97225

Start Date: November 9, 2026

Location: Portland, Oregon metropolitan area

Schedule: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00). Weekend requirement includes one standby weekend per month (Saturday 0600 - Monday 0600). On-call required for responding to cardiac emergencies, scrub, and circulator duties. Patient ratio 1:1.

• Opportunity to work with advanced cardiac procedures including CABG, valve replacements, LVAD/RVAD, and hybrid OR cases

Requirements:

• Active Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year in cardiovascular operating room
• Cardiac scrub experience required (hard stop requirement)
• Current BLS certification
• Epic charting system experience required
• Proficiency in CVOR procedures including coronary artery bypass grafts, valve replacements, aortic aneurysm repair, IABP, and ventricular assist devices
• Experience with scrub cardiovascular surgery, cardiac monitoring, and specimen handling
• Must have reliable vehicle for this assignment
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Ability to commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
