Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery – Everett, WA 98201

Start Date: November 9, 2026

Location: Everett, Washington

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30). Weekend coverage required. Float to Postpartum as needed. No call required. Guaranteed hours with potential for one 12-hour shift call-off per two-week period.

Highlights:

• High-risk perinatal care in a comprehensive women and children's pavilion with Level II NICU
• Level III maternity services with 19 labor and delivery beds, 10 antepartum beds, 30 postpartum beds, 3 ORs, 2 PACU, and 7-bay triage
• Excellent staffing ratios: 1:1 in labor, 1:3 couplets in postpartum with CNA support, 1:2-3 in antepartum
• Robust interdisciplinary support including 3-4 delivering providers 24/7, 2 CRNAs 24/7, surgical techs, CNAs, and health unit coordinators
• Level II Trauma Center with Epic charting system and facility-paid parking
• 40 hours of paid orientation to ensure successful onboarding

Requirements:

• Active Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience required
• Experience in facilities handling 100+ deliveries per month (200+ deliveries preferred)
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate or Relias Fetal Monitoring (all certifications are mandatory)
• Epic charting system experience required
• Must be proficient in sterile vaginal exams (hardstop requirement)
• Strong clinical skills in high-risk deliveries, cesarean sections, neonatal resuscitation, fetal monitoring, and postpartum care
• Ability to work 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Must reside outside 50-mile radius (local candidates not accepted)
• Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
