Job Opportunity – OR Technologist – Herrin, IL 62948

Start Date: November 2, 2026

Location: Southern Illinois

Schedule: 36 guaranteed hours per week, 0800-1830, 4 days per week with rotating days off throughout the week. Call requirements include 1 weeknight and 2 weekend days per month. On-call rate available.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Non-Certified: Graduate of OR technician program accredited through ARC/STSA, on-the-job training, military experience as technician, LPN, dental assistant, ophthalmologist technician, or medical assistant with documented evidence of training
• Certified: Successfully pass the Certified Surgical Technologist exam through NBSTSA or NCCT
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum 6 months technical experience or specialized training for non-certified candidates
