Description

Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical – DeRidder, LA 70634

Start Date: November 24, 2026

Location: DeRidder, Louisiana

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 36 guaranteed hours per week

Highlights:

91-day travel assignment at a community-owned, not-for-profit acute care facility
Medical-Surgical unit caring for adult patients with occasional pediatric cases
Joint Commission accredited facility with 49 beds
Overtime available after 40 hours per week
No on-call requirements

Requirements:

Active Louisiana RN license or compact state license with ability to obtain Louisiana licensure
Current BLS certification required
Medical-Surgical nursing experience preferred
Must be represented by an agency on the Louisiana Department of Health Nurse Staffing Agencies List
Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility location
Must work with a Joint Commission accredited staffing agency
