Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery – Issaquah, WA 98029

Start Date: November 9, 2026

Location: Issaquah, Washington

Schedule: Night shift, 4x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30). Staffing ratio 1:1-3. Float required to Post-Partum and potentially other Labor & Delivery units based on facility needs. Flexible contract options available for 13 or 26 weeks.

Highlights:

• Only required to work 1 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas/Eve, New Years/Eve) with ability to request up to 2 major holidays off
• 8 labor rooms and 4 triage rooms serving 200-300 births per month
• Comprehensive Labor & Delivery experience including circulating for C-sections, high-risk deliveries, low-risk antepartum, and GYN surgeries
• First-time travelers accepted with minimum 2 years of experience
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate

Requirements:

• Active Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• Epic charting system experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, FHM (Fetal Heart Monitoring), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), AWHONN Intermediate
• ACLS certification preferred
• Experience with blood/blood products administration, epidural pumps, PCA pumps, anticoagulation therapy, magnesium sulfate, insulin drips, and wound care
• Proficiency in triage of obstetrical patients, sterile vaginal exams, IUPC placement and calibration, and assisting with high-risk deliveries
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Clean background check required
