Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Case Manager – Eureka, CA 95501

Start Date: November 30, 2026

Location: Eureka, California – Northern California coastal region

Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (08:00 - 16:30), every other weekend required. Patient caseload of approximately 20 patients. No call required. Floating to like units based on departmental needs.

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license (Compact license accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of acute care hospital case management experience required
• Acute care experience must be current within the last year
• Experience with HMOs, IPAs, and managed care organizations
• Proficiency with advance directives, POLST, and protective services processes
• Epic charting system experience required
• Strong background in discharge planning, care coordination, and utilization review
• Knowledge of CMS guidelines, DRGs, appeals and denials processes
• Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
• Commitment to work three of five major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
