Description
Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology (Travel/Contract)
Location: West Hollywood, California
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Position Details
- Start Date: November 2025
- Shift: Days, 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
- Experience Required: Minimum 2 years (First-timers not accepted)
- Certifications Required:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ARRT T (Therapeutic Radiologic Technologist)
- California State License
- On-call: Not required
- Floating: No floating within or to sister facilities
- Block Schedule: Not accommodated
- Locals Accepted: Yes
- Pending State License: Not accepted
Clinical & Technical Requirements
- Experience with Aria software required
- Adult inpatient and outpatient experience
- Experience with CBCT/kV/mV imaging and emergency cases
- Types of cases: Various cancer cases
- Equipment used:
- Truebeam
- Elekta Versa HD
- GE Lightspeed CT Scanner
- Bravos HDR Afterloader
- Xoft superficial treatment system
- Preferred skills: Chart check
Compliance & Documentation Requirements
- Background Checks:
- 7-year criminal background check within 1 year of start, updated annually
- Includes SSN trace, nationwide search, sex offender search, federal district court search, FACIS III, and international criminal searches if applicable
- Education Verification:
- Proof of highest medical degree (diploma or unofficial transcript)
- DAPIP accreditation verification for applicable tech roles
- Health Requirements:
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
- Annual TB questionnaire if history of positive TB
- Immunizations or positive titers for Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Hepatitis B
- Seasonal flu vaccination required for 2025-26 season (Nov 1, 2025 – Apr 30, 2026) with strict exemption policies
- Drug screening panel within 1 year of start (excluding Marijuana/THC)
- References:
- Two professional references required, including one supervisory reference
- Attestation:
- Prior radiation exposure attestation required for new candidates in relevant units
Certifications & Competencies
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – AHA, ARC, or RQI accepted
- BLS (Basic Life Support) – AHA, ARC, or RQI accepted
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) – AHA, ARC, or RQI accepted
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- CHEMO (Chemotherapy certification)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
- EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring)
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute)
- State License verification required
- Medication and competency exams as per Aya standards
Facility Specific Requirements
- Photo for badge creation (specific photo guidelines apply)
- Signed addendum to job description and acknowledgement forms
- Code of conduct and attendance policy attestation
- Scheduling guidelines review (applicable units only)
- Job hazard analysis and safe work practices acknowledgement
- EKG study guide provided for RNs undergoing EKG assessment during orientation
- Module timecard and telecommuting agreements if applicable
