Description

Registered Nurse - Infusion RN (Oncology)

Location: Santa Monica, California
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 26 weeks

Job Description

Role focused on infusion nursing with experience in chemotherapy administration.
Administer chemotherapy and IV therapy for oncology patients.
Preferred experience caring for patients with a wide range of cancer diagnoses.
Work hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, no call required.
Occasional overtime may be needed if treatment complications arise.
Locals and true travelers are both accepted.
Must commit to the full 26-week contract.
Parking provided in an attached garage.
Candidates should consider commute times during peak hours; early departure due to traffic will not be approved.

Requirements

Certifications: ONCC (Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation) or ONS (Oncology Nursing Society) certification required.
Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in Oncology/Infusion nursing.
First-time travelers: Accepted.
Weekend shifts: Not required.
On-call: Not required.
Floating: No floating between units required.
State License: Must have an active state license; pending licenses are not accepted.

Facility Information

Outpatient Cancer Center.
Electronic charting system: EPIC.

Additional Notes

Prior travel experience is not required.
