• Years of Experience Required: 2 years in specialty
• First-timers Accepted: Yes

• Orientation: 30 hours
• Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks

Certifications Required

• ARRT* (RCIS only is not acceptable)
• Fluoro Permit (pending Fluoro permits considered if already applied for)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)

Licensing

• Pending state license accepted if Fluoro permit application is in process at time of submission
• RTO (Return to Office) must be approved at time of submission

• EPLS/GSA/SAM Check (updated monthly)
• HHS/OIG Check (updated monthly)
• Education Verification (3rd party verification of nursing degree required)
• NURSYS Verification (for all RNs)
• Physical Exam (within 1 year of start)
• Drug Testing (10 panel within 90 days of start)
• Immunizations and Health Documents:

  • TDAP (within 10 years, declination accepted)
  • Negative TB or Chest X-Ray (within 12 months, annual updates required)
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer
  • Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination
  • Varicella vaccination or positive titer
  • Flu Vaccine during flu season (declination accepted)
  • COVID vaccine or declination
• Fit Mask Testing (annual, required for travel starts on or after 2/5/2024)
• Respirator Safety Clearance (annual medical clearance for respirator use)

Training & Competency Requirements

• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam (as applicable)
• Competency Exams as required by specialty
• Color Blind Testing (if required by unit)
• Skills Checklist (updated annually)
• WorkRamp Modules (mandatory pre-start and specialty-specific training modules assigned via LMS platform)
• Epic Access Training (completion of Epic modules required)

References & Employment History

• Minimum of 2 supervisor references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
• Employment application covering at least last 5 years (7 years for APN/Subcontractors) with month/year format for dates
• Clarification required for any gaps or overlaps in employment
