**Exciting Opportunity for a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse!** **Job Description:** - Join our dynamic Med/Surg team on the 8th floor! - **Position:** Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical - **Shift:** Night 4x12-Hour (18:30 - 07:00) - **Experience:** Minimum 1 year required; first-time travelers welcome! - **Patient Ratio:** 1:6 - **Patient Age Groups:** Adults, Geriatrics - **Daily Census:** 30 - **Number of Rooms:** 31 - **Number of Beds:** 39 **Responsibilities:** - Provide exceptional care for patients with strokes and surgical needs. - Utilize telemetry central monitoring tech - no need to interpret dysrhythmias! - Float to other units as needed, with a maximum of 1 weekend shift per contract. - Engage in interdisciplinary support services, including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and more. **Certifications Needed:** - BLS - NIHSS - Preferred: CPI, IV therapy/Phlebotomy **Preferred Skills:** - Blood Product Administration - Peripheral Line Care/Management - PICC Line Management - Colostomy and Feeding Tube Care - Chest Tube Management - Respiratory Care (CPAP/BiPAP) **Professional Knowledge:** - Isolation Precautions - Wound Care/Wound Vac - Total Joint Replacements **Orientation:** 24 Hours to ensure you're set up for success! **Scrub Color:** Any color with no logos. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
