Description

Nursing Contract Opportunity - Honakaa, Hawaii

Location: Honakaa, Hawaii
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Must have an active Hawaii nursing license by the start of the assignment.
Long Term Care Facility located on-site at the hospital.
Responsibilities include:
- Patient assessments and treatments
- Medication administration
- Communication with MD/NP regarding pertinent patient information
- Admitting and discharging patients
- Assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADL)
- Gastrostomy tube care
- Urinary catheter care
- Nebulizer treatments
- Wound VAC care
- CPAP care
- Other assigned nursing duties

Shift Details

Varied 8-hour shifts:
- Days: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
- Evenings: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
- Nights: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Includes weekends, holidays, and potential overtime rotation
No guarantee of hours or shift preference

Additional Requirements

Must arrive the Thursday before the start date for an employee health appointment on Friday
BLS/BCLS certification required
