**Exciting Opportunity for RN Case Manager!** **Job Description:** - Position: RN Case Manager - Specialty: Case Manager - Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00) - Experience Required: 3 years of inpatient case management - Active CA License Required - Epic Experience Required - Knowledge of HMO and Medicare for inpatient, home health, and SNF settings **Key Responsibilities:** - Care Coordination - Discharge Planning - Plan of Care Development - Utilize InterQual Criteria - Utilize Milliman Guidelines - Conduct Utilization Review **Regulatory Knowledge:** - CMS: Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services - CPT (Current Procedural Terminology) coding and billing - Department of Health Guidelines - DRG (Diagnosis Related Groups) - HIPAA guidelines (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) - ICD-10 Coding - NCQA (National Committee for Quality Assurance) - OSHA: Occupational Safety and Health Administration - The Joint Commission/ Core Measure/National Safety Goals - Worker’s Compensation **Patient Care:** - Patient Ratios: Days 1:15 | Weekends 1:40 - Patient Age Groups: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics - Daily Census: 255 - Number of Visits Per Day: 15 - Interdisciplinary Support: Social Services, Transportation **Additional Information:** - Patient Coverage: Every Other Weekend - Pre-Approved Time Off: 2 Requests - Orientation Hours: 16 - Local and First-time Candidates Welcomed - Floating within Scope to Meet Facility Needs: Yes - No Pending Licenses Accepted - RTO Restrictions: No RTO in the first 2-weeks - Free or Validated Parking Available **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
