Job Description

The MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse is responsible for providing patient care by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. Key responsibilities include:

Demonstrating critical thinking skills and scientific judgment.
Planning for safe delivery of care.
Maintaining clinical competencies through continuing education.
Delegating patient care priorities based on staff education and experience.
Providing direction and supervision to assigned personnel.

Shift Details

Shift: Night Shift (7 PM - 7:30 AM)
Weekend Requirement: Must work 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule.
Floating Requirement: Must be willing to float between departments and the following facilities:
- Northwest Medical Center
- Oro Valley Hospital
- Northwest Houghton
- Northwest Sahuarita

Requirements

Licensure: Arizona RN license
Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a relevant nursing role
Patient Ratio: 6 patients per nurse
Shifts: 3 shifts of 12 hours each

Additional Information

Starting within 2 weeks of offer acceptance is preferred.
