Job Opportunity: Med-Surg Nurse (Night Shift)

Location: Lawton, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Contract
Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM
Patient Ratio: 1:5

Job Description

Develop and implement total nursing care through assessment, nursing diagnosis, and patient care plans.
Provide leadership by collaborating with ancillary nursing staff and other patient care team members to maintain professional nursing standards.
Care for a diverse patient population including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
Must be willing to float to other Med-Surg units as needed.
Responsibilities include preparing, administering, and documenting prescribed medications; changing dressings; inserting catheters; starting IVs; adjusting specialized medical equipment; interpreting and recording measurements; monitoring patient vitals; and reporting adverse medication reactions promptly.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of Med-Surg nursing experience (highest required experience).
Prior travel experience is not specified or required.

Contract Length

13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
