TRAVEL RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGIST - X-RAY & MAMMOGRAPHY (CDCR)

Leverage your multi-modality skills in a specialized correctional healthcare setting! Catalytic Solutions is seeking experienced, certified Radiologic Technologists for relief assignments within the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) system. This role requires expertise in X-Ray and Mammography (plus a potential for Fluoroscopy) and offers a unique, high-impact clinical environment.

THE ROLE AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Multi-Modality Focus: Perform general diagnostic radiographic work, process X-Ray and digital images, and must be licensed to perform mammography. Experience with fluoroscopy and contrast media is utilized as applicable.

• Special Procedures: Assist medical providers with special procedures (e.g., routine fluoro, biopsies, myelograms).

• High-Acuity Response: Respond to emergency room and bedside radiographic examinations and provide emergency medical support during contrast reactions.

• Compliance & Safety: Maintain records within RIS/PACS, comply with statewide standard protocols, and strictly practice ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) radiation exposure and universal safety precautions.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Experience: Twelve (12) continuous months of experience within the last three (3) years.

• Licensure/Certification:

  • Current certification in good standing from the State of California, Department of Health Services as a Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT).

  • Must possess a current and valid license for all applicable modalities, including Mammography.

  • Venipuncture certificate required.

  • Must be compliant with N95 and PAPR medical clearance and annual training.

• Communication: Must be proficient in the English language.
