Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Johnson, Arkansas

Position Details

Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Location: Johnson, Arkansas
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights, 7 PM - 7 AM, every other weekend required
Start Date: ASAP

Experience & Qualifications

Required Specialty Experience: Minimum 1+ years in Level 3 NICU or higher
Education: Associate's degree required
Licensure: Licensed to practice in Arkansas
Certifications: Current AHA or ARC BLS, PALS, NRP, and ACLS required
Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required

Job Responsibilities

Provide cardiopulmonary services following approved protocols and department policies
Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures
Deliver medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas
Maintain airways and manage ventilators
Perform insertion of arterial lines and intubations
Conduct pulmonary function studies, cardiac and pulmonary stress tests, and blood gases

Additional Requirements

Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel status
