Travel RN Opportunity - Emergency Room

Location: Roswell, New Mexico
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Provide nursing care to Emergency Room patients, utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to ensure safe patient care delivery in the Emergency Department. Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education. Delegate patient care priorities and supervise assigned personnel.

Requirements

Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room
Experience: Minimum 2+ years in specialty
Certifications:
- NIHSS
- SAMA or CPI
- ACLS
- BLS
- PALS
- TNCC
Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required
Additional: Fingerprints required for all New Mexico travelers

Shift & Schedule

Shift: Mid shift (1 PM - 1 AM)
Schedule: Every Other Week (EOW)
Floating required but rarely needed

Patient Care Details

Patient Ratio: 1 nurse to 4-6 patients
Unit Size: 23 beds
EMR Systems: Cerner, Mindray Telemetry Monitoring
Scrubs Color: Royal Blue

Additional Notes

Blocked scheduling may be accommodated if the same days are not required each week.
48-hour guarantees may be approved and must be included in the submission.
