### Join Our Team as a Respiratory Therapist in the NICU! **Job Description:** - **Profession:** Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics - **Specialty:** RRT PICU - **Shift:** Night 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15) - **Years of Experience:** 2 years required (Peds OR NICU experience required!) - **Charting System:** Epic (preferred) **Certifications:** - BLS - NC Start License (preferred) - NPS (preferred) - NRP - PALS - RRT **Key Skills:** - Medication Delivery Systems - Aerosol set up mask - Aerosol set up trach - Medihaler - Professional Knowledge and Skills - Basic EKG (preferred) - Drawing arterial blood gases - Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs) - Ventilator Management (BiPAP, CPAP, troubleshooting high pressure alarms, weaning from mechanical ventilation) **Work Settings:** - Emergency Department - NICU - Pediatric Critical Care - Pediatrics **Additional Skills:** - Airway Management Devices/Suctioning - Extubation - Nasal airway suctioning - Oral/nasal suctioning - Tracheostomy care/management - Oxygen therapy (High Flow Nasal Cannula and Trach collar) - Monitoring **Scheduling Type:** Other **Float Requirement:** Yes (float required throughout the PEDS units and floors) **Weekend Coverage:** Every third weekend **Orientation Hours:** 30 **Patient Age Groups:** Neonates, Infants, Pediatrics **Daily Census:** 10/15 **Special Procedures/Unit Details:** - Will work primarily in NICU (50% - 60% of cases) and PICU - **Special Equipment:** - Servo I (preferred vent) **Expectations:** - RTO after booking is NOT allowed - Must have all required certifications and licenses in hand - **Call Requirement:** On call required as needed; minimum 3 on-call shifts per 6-week period - **Floating Requirement:** Floating is required as needed **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
