Travel RN - Operating Room (OR)

Location: Johnson, Arkansas
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each (Tuesday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM)

Job Description

• Provide nursing care in the Operating Room as part of the surgical team.
• Collaborate with Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, OR Technicians, and other personnel.
• Follow State Nurse Practice Act, AORN guidelines, regulatory standards, physician orders, and hospital policies.
• Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring supplies are available
  • Managing case timeliness
  • Communicating with patient families
  • Updating physician preference cards
  • Scrubbing and assisting physicians during surgeries
  • Supervising personnel delivering patient care

Requirements

• Active RN license
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in Operating Room with a combination of Orthopedics, Plastics, and OB/GYN specialties
