Nursing Contract Opportunity - Janesville, Wisconsin

Requirements

• Current Wisconsin (WI) and Illinois (IL) nursing licenses
• CPR certification
• Experience in Skilled Nursing units
• Ability to float to other inpatient units or facilities as needed
• Willingness to rotate between weekday and weekend shifts
• Availability for 0.9 FTE day shift (06:30 AM - 07:00 PM)

Job Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in patient care
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments following nursing techniques, policies, standards of care, and state laws
• Document care according to standards
• Develop and execute individualized patient care plans as prescribed by physicians and hospital policy, including patient and family education
• Participate in department or unit performance improvement activities, including shared governance
• Provide clinical expertise and guidance to other units/departments to support patient care continuity
• Apply critical thinking to ensure patient safety and experience, escalating issues appropriately
