Job Opportunity: First Assistant (CST/ORT) - Travel Position

Location: Clarksville, Tennessee
Employment Type: Travel

Job Details

Specialty: Certified Surgical Technologist / Operating Room Technician (CST/ORT)
Shift: Days, 0645 - 1715
Schedule:
- 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each
- Call schedule:
  - Twice per week from 5 PM to 7 PM
  - One overnight call per week from 5 PM to 7 AM
  - Weekend call once every 6 weeks (Friday 5 PM to Monday 7 AM)
No floating, no 48-hour shifts, no block scheduling
Holiday: 1 holiday required during assignment
Patient Ratio: 1:1
Number of Beds: 12
EMR System: Cerner
Scrubs: Provided

Requirements

Certification: First Assistant Certification required (NBSTA)
Experience:
- Graduate of Surgical Technician School
- Minimum 2 years experience as a surgical scrub tech
- First Assist experience required
BLS certification required
Travelers must live more than 50 miles from the facility

Contract Length

13 weeks

Notes

RN First Assist candidates will not be considered
Travelers must include home address and SSN on submissions
Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position
