**Exciting Opportunity for a Night Shift Registered Nurse in Rehab!** **Job Description:** - **Position:** Registered Nurse - Rehab - **Shift:** Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) - **Patient Ratio:** 1:8 (Nights, Days, Weekends) - **Patient Age Groups:** Adults - **Experience:** Minimum 1 year preferred - **Previous Charge Experience:** Preferred - **Teaching Hospital Experience:** Preferred - **Community Hospital Experience:** Preferred - **LTAC Experience:** Preferred - **Trauma Experience:** Level I & Level II Preferred - **Travel Experience:** No required travel **Certifications:** - BLS (required) **Key Skills:** - Acute Inpatient Rehab - IV Therapy - Administration of blood & blood products - Care and management of ports - Starting and maintaining IVs - Venous blood draws - Cardiac Care: - Angina, Hypertension, Post Cardiac Surgery - Post MI, Post Vascular Surgery - Medications Management: - Anticoagulation therapy, Antiseizure, Diuretics - Orthopedic Care: - Assistive Devices, Mobilization Techniques - Prosthesis application, Total joint replacement - Endocrine/Metabolic Monitoring: - Blood glucose monitoring, Insulin protocols - Respiratory Care: - Care of Ventilated Patients, COVID management - Incentive Spirometry, Tracheostomy care - Genitourinary/Renal Care: - Chronic renal failure/dialysis, Foley catheter removal - Neurological Care: - CVA, Neuromuscular diseases, Traumatic Brain Injury **Professional Skills:** - Diabetic Teaching, Fall Risk Assessment/Prevention - Infection Prevention, Isolation Precautions - Pain Assessment & Management, Patient Teaching - Wound Care, Pressure Ulcer Assessment/Prevention **Interdisciplinary Support:** - IV Teams, Phlebotomy **Schedule Flexibility:** - Option of 36 or 48 hours weekly - Weekend Coverage: Every Other Weekend - Pre-Approved Time Off: 1 Request **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
