Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department

Location: Oro Valley, Arizona

Job Description

• Provide care to Emergency Room patients using the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to ensure safe patient care delivery in the Emergency Department.
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.
• Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience.
• Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care.
• Required to float between departments and to the Marana Emergency Department.
• Must be willing to float between sister facilities within the system.

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of Emergency Department experience.
• Arizona RN license required.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS required.
• Experience with Cerner electronic health record system.
• Preferred certifications: TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course), CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention), NIH certification.

Shift Details

• Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Rotating weekends
• 36 hours guaranteed
