**Exciting Opportunity for Respiratory Therapists in Pediatric Care!** Job Description: - **Position**: Respiratory Therapist - PICU - **Experience Required**: Travel experience preferred; will consider 1st-time travelers with high skillsets. - **Certifications**: - BLS - NRP - RRT - State licensed - **Years of Experience**: Minimum 5 years required. - **Shift**: - Night shift: 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15) - **Work Settings**: - Emergency Department - NICU - Pediatric Critical Care - Pediatrics - **Patient Age Groups**: - Neonates - Infants - Pediatrics - Adolescents - **Required Skills**: - Endotracheal tube management and suctioning - Pulmonary Hygiene - Sputum specimen collection - Tracheostomy care and management - Medication Administration: Albuterol, Atrovent, Flovent, Nitric Oxide (INo), Pulmicort, Racemic epinephrine, Terbutaline Sulfate, Tobramycin, Xopenex - Ventilator Management: BiPAP, CPAP, IMV/SIMV - Neonatal/Pediatrics Equipment/Procedures: High-risk delivery assistance, Oscillating Ventilator - **Preferred Skills**: - Direct Intubation (Neonatal and Pediatric) - Basic EKG interpretation - Experience with Bronchoscopy - **Special Equipment**: Must be skilled with: - Servo-I - Servo-N - Alaris IV pumps for continuous Albuterol treatments - Airvo heated HFNC - Various nebulizers and ventilators - **Weekend Coverage**: Every third weekend - **Unit Details**: - 70+ bed NICU - 10 bed PICU - 32 bed Pediatric Floor - 14 bed Pediatric ED - **Unit Orientation**: 36 hours of unit orientation Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol): At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
