**Exciting Opportunity for a Respiratory Therapist - PICU** **Job Description:** - Join a dynamic team of healthcare professionals in a progressive Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). - Work Night Shifts: 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15) with a supportive environment. - Enjoy a role that emphasizes advanced skills and experience. **Requirements:** - Minimum 5 years of experience in Respiratory Therapy. - Travel Experience Required: Prefer seasoned travelers or first-timers with a high-level skillset. - Previous charge experience is preferred. - Required Certifications: BLS, NRP, RRT, State Licensed. **Skills:** - Expertise in medication delivery systems and medication administration. - Proficient in caring for patients with conditions such as aspiration, COVID, cystic fibrosis, pneumonia, and fresh tracheostomy. - Strong background in neonatal and pediatric equipment and procedures, including direct intubation. **Ventilator Management:** - Knowledge of BiPAP, CPAP, High-frequency oscillator. - Experience with troubleshooting high pressure alarms and weaning from mechanical ventilation. **Work Settings:** - Collaborate across various units including Emergency Department, NICU, Pediatric Critical Care, and Pediatrics. - Assist in high-risk deliveries and participate in inter-departmental neonatal transports. **Weekend Coverage:** - Every third weekend coverage required, with 10 weekend shifts per contract. **Special Equipment:** - Competence with specialized equipment like Servo-I, Servo-N, Hamilton T1, and various nebulizer systems. **Patient Age Groups:** - Treat a diverse range of patients from neonates to adolescents. **Additional Information:** - No block scheduling available. - Call requirement and float among various pediatric units. - 36 hours of unit orientation to ensure your success. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
