### Exciting Opportunity for Experienced Pediatric Respiratory Therapists! **Job Description:** - Position: Respiratory Therapist - PICU - Travel Experience Required: Yes (Experienced travelers preferred; 1st time travelers with high-level skill set accepted) - Specialty: RRT PICU - Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15) - Weekend Coverage: Every third weekend - Pre-Approved Time Off: 1 request **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide exceptional respiratory care in a dynamic Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) environment. - Utilize advanced respiratory equipment and ventilators to manage complex cases. - Perform airway management, including direct intubation and extubation. - Administer medications, including albuterol, nitric oxide, and other respiratory therapies. - Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care. - Document patient progress using the EPIC charting system. **Required Skills and Certifications:** - Minimum 5 years of experience in Pediatric or Neonatal care. - Current certifications: BLS, NRP, RRT, State licensed. - Proficiency with medication delivery systems and aerosol setups. - Experience with a variety of respiratory treatment protocols and devices. **Preferred Skills:** - Previous charge experience in a PICU setting. - Competence in handling bronchoscopy patients and neonatal transports. - Knowledge of advanced ventilator management techniques. **Special Unit Details:** - 70+ bed NICU - 10 bed PICU - 32 bed Pediatric Floor - 14 bed Pediatric ED **Exciting Equipment Utilized:** - Servo-I, Servo-N, HOFV-3100 A & B - Alaris IV pumps for continuous treatments - Airvo heated HFNC - BCPAP with multiple interfaces **Important Notes:** - RTO after booking is not allowed. - No block scheduling available; flexible scheduling based on unit needs. - Call may be required depending on workload. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
