### Exciting Opportunity for a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Respiratory Therapist! **Job Description:** - Join a dynamic team in a 10-bed PICU, providing exceptional care to pediatric patients. - **Shift Details:** - Night shifts: 3x12-hour shifts (18:45 - 07:15). - Weekend Requirement: Every third weekend. - **Experience Required:** - Minimum 5 years of experience in pediatrics and NICU. - Preferred experience with charge responsibilities. - **Required Certifications:** - BLS - NRP - RRT - State licensed - **Key Skills Needed:** - Medication Delivery Systems: - Aerosol set up mask - Aerosol set up trach - Medihaler - Metered Dose Inhaler (MDI) - Medication Administration: - Albuterol - Atrovent - Flovent - Nitric Oxide (INo) - Pulmicort - Racemic epinephrine - Terbutaline Sulfate - Tobramycin - Xopenex - **Care of Patients:** - Aspiration - Bronchoscopy - COVID - Cystic fibrosis - Fresh tracheostomy - Pneumonia - **Neonatal/Pediatrics Equipment & Procedures:** - Bubble CPAP - Capillary blood gases - CPAP/Nasal CPAP/BIPAP - Direct Intubation (Neonatal & Peds) - Patient Transport - Troubleshooting high pressure alarms - **Ventilator Management:** - BiPAP - CPAP - High frequency oscillator - Weaning from mechanical ventilation - **Special Unit Details:** - 70+ bed NICU - 32 bed Pediatric Floor - 14 bed Pediatric Emergency Department - Capability to float between units as needed. - **Unit Orientation:** - 36 hours of comprehensive unit orientation. - **Scrubs:** - Required: Black (not provided). - **Interview Availability:** - Candidates must provide availability for interviews within the next 72 hours. --- **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
