Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (Ortho/Neuro Unit Nights)

Location: Janesville, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Seeking experienced Registered Nurses to work night shifts (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM) on the Ortho/Neuro Unit. The position requires working every other weekend and holidays with 12-hour shifts. Travel RNs may be required to float to other units.

Requirements

Current Wisconsin RN License
NIHSS certification
CPR/BLS certification
Fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and Flu
Experience: Minimum 1 year nursing experience (default assumption based on typical requirements; no explicit years stated)
Prior travel experience: Not explicitly required

Responsibilities

Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in patient care
Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to nursing standards, policies, and state laws
Document care according to standards
Develop and execute individualized patient care plans as prescribed by physicians and hospital policy
Participate in department/unit performance improvement activities, including shared governance
Provide clinical expertise and guidance to other units/departments to support patient care continuity
Apply critical thinking to ensure patient safety and experience, escalating issues appropriately

Work Schedule

Night shifts: 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
Every other weekend and holiday coverage
12-hour shifts

Additional Notes

Flexibility to float to other units may be required for travel nurses
