### Join Our Dynamic Labor and Delivery Team! **Job Description:** - **Position:** Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery - **Shift:** Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) - **Experience Required:** 3 years in Labor and Delivery - **No Travel Experience Needed!** - **Patient Age Groups:** Neonates, Infants, Adolescents, and Adults - **Daily Census:** 210-240 births per month - **Number of Rooms:** 22 - **Number of Beds:** 21 **Why You'll Love Working Here:** - **Interdisciplinary Support:** Collaborate with IV Teams, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacists, and Unit Secretaries. - **Patient Focus:** Care for low and high-risk labor patients, including antepartum with multiples, hypertensive disorders, and diabetic conditions. - **Special Procedures:** Circulate and recover cesarean sections, perform postpartum D&C. **Certification Requirements:** - **Mandatory Certifications:** - ACLS - BLS - NRP - **Preferred Certifications:** - AWHONN Advanced (must have prior to submission) - C-EFM certified can substitute for Advanced AWHONN **Skills & Preferences:** - **Required Skills:** - Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency Care - Labor and Delivery Management - **Preferred Skills:** - Telemetry Interpretation - Preceptor skills, with preference for those with previous precepting experience **Additional Information:** - **Float Requirement:** Yes, to Mother/Baby Units - **Orientation:** 24 hours - **Weekend Shift Requirement:** Depends on contract length - **Guaranteed Hours:** Facility can call off once per two-week pay period - **Parking:** Free parking available! - **Work Environment:** Must be flexible working weekends! **Special Notes:** - Must be equipped to float to Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center San Pedro as needed. - Strong candidates with precepting experience are encouraged to apply! **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
