Job Opportunity: Acute Care Physical Therapist (Travel/Contract)

Health & Safety Requirements

• Physical Exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO
• Fit Mask testing (annual, onsite or valid record within 1 year)
• TDAP Vaccine within 10 years or signed declination
• Negative TB test or Chest X-Ray within 12 months, updated annually
• MMR Vaccines or Positive Titers for Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella
• Hepatitis B vaccination series or signed declination
• Varicella vaccination or positive titer
• 10 Panel Drug Screen within 90 days of start (no instant tests)
• Seasonal Flu Vaccine or signed declination (required during flu season)
• COVID vaccine or declination
• Respiratory Safety Clearance (annual for travel candidates)

Additional Requirements

• Float Policy Acknowledgement: May be required to float to other Providence facilities within reasonable distance

• Completion of Providence WorkRamp Modules (varies by region, specialty, and employment type) including:

  • Core Regulatory Modules (annual)
  • Specialty Specific Modules (ER, L&D, Leadership roles, etc.)
  • Regional Core and Specialty Modules as applicable
  • Basics of Trauma Informed Care (required at this facility)
• Epic Training Modules: Required for Epic access and must be completed within orientation timeframe

Schedule & Work Environment

• 7 days on, 7 days off schedule with 7-10 hour shifts
• Weekend work required
• Option for alternate schedule (Thursday-Monday with Tuesday/Wednesday off) if 7 on/7 off is not preferred
• No overtime approved beyond scheduled hours
• Scrub color: Any color allowed on all units

Notes

• Acute care experience is mandatory; inpatient rehab experience is a plus
• Floating between units is expected
