Job Opportunity: Travel Nurse - Float Pool (Night Shift)

Location: Janesville, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RN) to work night shifts (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM) on a float pool basis, covering multiple inpatient units including Medical, Surgical/Pediatrics, Orthopedics/Neuro, and Sub-Acute units.

Requirements

• Current Wisconsin RN License
• NIHSS certification
• CPR/BLS certification
• Flu vaccination required
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required
• Must be able to work every other weekend and holidays

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide patient care
• Administer medications and treatments according to nursing standards, policies, and state laws
• Document care in accordance with standards
• Develop and execute individualized patient care plans as prescribed by physicians and hospital policy
• Participate in department/unit performance improvement activities, including shared governance
• Provide clinical expertise and guidance to other units/departments to support patient care continuity
• Apply critical thinking to ensure patient safety and experience, escalating issues appropriately
