Description

Job Opportunity: Scrub Tech

Location: Salida, Colorado
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Seeking a Scrub Tech with orthopedic experience to assist surgeons and nursing staff during surgical procedures.

Work Schedule

Hours: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Tuesday through Friday
Includes equitable call coverage on weekdays and weekends

Required Certifications/Licenses

Current CPR certification
Certification as OR Surgical Technician

Key Responsibilities

Assist surgeons and nursing staff during surgeries
Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient care
Maintain sterile technique and asepsis principles
Communicate any breaks in sterile technique to circulating RN and surgeons
Prepare and ensure all necessary equipment is ready before cases
Operate electro-surgical, diagnostic, video, disposable, and specialty-specific equipment safely

Experience Requirements

Must have orthopedic experience
